Bulldozer clearing land

Land Clearing

Midwest Construction has many years of experience when it comes to clearing land. We know exactly what to do for the project in mind, and how to do it in the shortest time possible.

The first step to this process is clearing away any large rocks, vegetation (such as trees, shrubs, bushes), or any other obstacles.

The next step is grading the property and this process will vary depending on the project.

Types of grading can include things like drainage control, erosion prevention, well or septic installation, electric or water utility connection, digging for basement or foundation, building access roads, or demolishing buildings.
Brush Mower

Commercial Brush Mowing

Our commercial mower leaves an attractive appearance to the land, free of brush and small trees, and ready for conversion. The land clearing Cat Brush Mower clears everything in it’s path and even has the ability to work around selected trees and shrubs, making it perfect for trails, parks, survey lines, right of ways, and wildland-urban interface areas.

The brush mower pushes brush and trees forward, cutting everything close to the ground and then runs over the cut materials to effectively re-cut them into small clippings. The clippings quickly deteriorate and fertilize the soil.

We have cleared land for utility easements, public right of ways, subdivisions, livestock pastures, gravel pits, and vista enhancement cuts.

Tree & Stump Removal

Cutting down or trimming a tree may seem like a major project, and removing the stump can not only be frustrating, but also very time consuming.

There is a lot involved in tree and stump removal, which is why it’s best to hire a professional to save you the time and get it done right.

Instead of having trees or stumps blocking the perfect view of your property, give us a call to create that panoramic view you’re dreaming of!

Trees do provide significant benefits to our homes and cities, but when trees fall and injure people or damage property, they are liabilities. Recognizing and reducing tree hazards increases the safety of your property and that of your neighbors. It’s best to remove hazardous trees and, if possible, plant a new tree in an appropriate place as a replacement.

Turn your property into an outdoor paradise. After we are finished, your property will have a great curbside appearance and be much easier to maintain.
